So, my process was...a little weird, since I had it mostly figured out before I really interacted with the community at all, and I honestly can’t really explain how I arrived at the conclusion I did other than to say that it just felt natural and right to me. I have plenty of anecdotal evidence, like shifts and behavior and thought processes and the like, but what I tend to point to as my “awakening” (event which really kicked off my conscious awareness of what I was feeling) was reading a quote by Mark Twain about praying for the Devil. I felt Seen and Heard, and from that point on I eventually just started thinking things like “huh it’s kinda like the devil and I share a soul hahaha” and then I just stopped laughing because it. It wasn’t a joke.

But for what it’s worth, I feel phantom shifts of feathered wings, and some regrettably stereotypical demon stuff like a pointy tail and horns. My mind at times feels like I’m thinking and reacting to stuff more like I do when I am my other self. Since I have specific lore to react to, it made it a little more natural to narrow it down.
