Magnus couldn’t help but put on a show for his boyfriend. It wasn’t often that he got to show off his dance moves and even though he ran a club, he was too busy running it to dance in it. Now that he had Alec though, he felt like showing off and he could tell that his boyfriend liked it. “Why don’t you come and join me, Alexander?” Magnus said as he continued to sway his hips. He offered out a hand to him and said, “I’ll teach you if you don’t know the moves.”

"Alexander," he managed to get out, and his opened entirely this time, looking up at Alec. He'd been so caught up in his work he'd nearly forgotten they had plans. "Sorry fell 'sleep." The words where have slurred with sleepiness. "Snuggle?" He managed to curl his lips into something like a smile.

Magnus half expected Alec to lash out and attack him, when he didn’t he was relieved. He smiled at his boyfriend and admired the way his cheeks were pink. “Hello Alexander.” He had let his hand drop by now since he didn’t want him to become too uncomfortable. “I decided to pay you a surprise visit. I didn’t startle you too much, did I?” He hoped not, he didn’t want Alec to be mad at him. “I was hoping you would be free this afternoon.”

Magnus was surprised to find Alec wearing one of his shirts. He didn’t think they were quite his style, but he could tell that he’d found one of his more plainer ones, so that made more sense. The nephilim was absolutely adorable though, so he went over to him and kissed him on the cheek. “Of course I don’t mind, darling. You just surprised me, is all. And I didn’t think any of my clothes were quite your style, but I’m not complaining. You look good in that shirt. Maybe I should give it to you.” Though at this point in their relationship, he certainly didn’t mind sharing clothes. He stepped closer and slipped an arm around hi. “We don’t get enough time together, do we? It’s why you’ve resorted to wearing my shirts, sweet, but…maybe we should take a vacation together, then you wouldn’t have to miss me.”

“To Cat, uh Catarina Loss, my friend.” Why was he so nervous about this? Probably because he and Alec were just friends and Alec had made that painfully obvious before. “Ha, yeah. I’m sorry, it won’t happen again. It’s just…sometimes we…and people think we already are so…,” He shrugged. Only Alec could get him to make this much of a fool of himself, he thought.

Magnus rolled his eyes. Alec could be such a drama queen when he wanted to be. “I didn’t say you had to eat it, darling.” Though he could agree that watermelon and peanut butter sounded strange, it was what he was craving at the moment. At the question, Magnus gave Alec one of those looks that said, ‘pretty please’ and then said out loud, “Please, Alexander? I know how you feel about me using magic right now, so I won’t just summon it.” If Alec wasn’t so particular about that, he would have just summoned everything to him like he wanted, but he knew better than to upset him. “Oh and could you get some strawberries too, please? Those have been sounding amazing lately as well.”

The best thing for them both. That wasn’t true, not at all. Magnus had already been having a hard time with all of this. He’d given his heart to Alec for the first time in hundreds of years and now…, “Is it the immortality thing? Is that what bothers you?” Magnus asked, wondering if there was anything he could do to fix this. “I love you, Alexander. And I don’t care that you’re mortal. I’ll love you anyway. Please don’t leave.” He didn’t think that his heart could take another break, especially not from this one.

   Magnus was never this insecure. Usually he brushed off these things, but seeing how Alec was around Jace, he couldn’t ignore it any longer. “It’s….I just…,” Magnus rubbed the back of his neck. He felt so uncomfortable and he knew that he shouldn’t have said anything. “I see how you are with Jace. I know there’s more than the parabatai bond going on there. You love him, don’t you?”
