Been colded and appointment’d up and and barely been able to get online much. Kind of got into a Batman phase. (...OK, like I haven’t been in a Batman phase since I was five, but sometimes I remember just how much.)
So way back, I got the "75 Years of Batman" anthology (this was in 2014) in digital, and when I was a bit less fuzzy, I decided to give it a read. Oh my god, I'm only on the Silver Age and already there have been so many classics. Some highlights:
“Just killed a dude. No big deal. He totally deserved it.”
(I know there was a long time where Bats was modelled off the Shadow and was fine with guns and absolutely not non-lethal, but wow, Bruce.)

Also in this issue: we're at that stage of comics where Bruce is actually starting to look like himself, complete with "for god's sake" expression, in the early fifties:
Vicki Vale being awesome and fifties comics being... fifties:

Bonus (while she’s working out a plan to unmask him and Bruce you dick you deserve it):

What the actual hell, guys.
Oh, and here’s Batman's "heartbroken ex" face and Superman being a massive dick, as usual in Silver Age:
"But... fuzzy-bear."
