hello fellow supports, today iām feeling a little sad..
a bit ago playing ctf on pc i met some people that seemed nice and one sent me a friend request and asked if i was a girl (i am), saying they were a group of girls looking for other pleasant people to play with. i play on both xbox and pc, and have no friends on pc to play with so this sounded very nice!! a friendly hopefully nontoxic environment with other girls. i was asked about mic and even though i have anxiety, wanted to give it a try. i joined, they all said hi, i tried to say back but it was my first time trying voice in game so iām not even sure if it worked. i was removed from the group seconds later and the one person who added me disappeared from my friendās list without a word. not having a lot of friends period, i had gotten really excited and my mood crashed completely after that. wondering if there was a mistake, i tried to hop trough a few games seeing if we could run into each other. just gave up and logged off feeling stupid. ngl iāve been told i sound kinda like a young boy so iām wondering if they did hear me, thought i lied, and just booted me cause of that? really the worst thing is that i donāt know whether it was a misunderstanding or they just felt like being cruel.
feeling so sensitive over something so small is embarrassing, and itās funny cause right before i messaged a friend saying ādonāt wunna speak too soon but maybe met some nice peopleā.
anyway, i guess letās all just be kind to people and also be careful jumping to conclusions! it can really make someoneās experience turn to shit.
iĀ think iāll be staying away from the game today.

I feel that it would be rather notable if it made you feel like trash and had you quit the game for the rest of the day. Another tick that can add up into something more.Ā
Iām sorry that you went through something like this mate, it can be hard to make friends online, and being given only a second to prove everything about yourself is never a good showing of faith. Nor is it a good showing of wanting to really create a grouping that can click well in the game.
Best I can say is to either soldier on,or maybe even look outside of the game to see if there are others whoād want to team up with you. There are several discords I can think of (away from this blogās own) that have a lot of friendly and out going players. I can link them if people as, but Elohell from the youtube/streamer Jayne, Animaticās dicord from the youtuber/streamer Animatic, Dilloncord from the creator Dillongoo. These are places Iāve met people, that I play with, and enjoy every second.
At the end of the day, take these things in time. Just like irl, it can take a while to find a good friend, it can hurt when things do match up, or they leave without a seconds thought. Things that can hurt, and that can be looked at to be fixed or improved upon with a keen eye. But they will come down to the person who is ultimentally effected by it.
I just hope it turns out well for you mate.
