It's serial killer brothers, of course I ship it.

What made you ship it?

I've shipped it from the beginning? Well, that's not entirely right - back when The Ice Truck Killer was stalking Dexter, I didn't really have ship feelings about what was going on there; I was intrigued, and my feelings for that era are shippy now. And when it was revealed Rudy was the Ice Truck Killer, I was like "huh okay." about it. And then Rudy reveals he's Dexter's long lost brother and he did all of this for him, I was so on board. So it was the brother reveal that made it so shippy for me. I was in Supernatural fandom at that time, so i was like "huh. weird brothers to ship are following me" that was before I became the person that ships incest in everything.

What are your favorite things about the ship?

There's a lot that's really interesting (Brian courting Dexter, Dexter in Original Sins cleaning up Brian's bodies), but one of my favorite things is that Brian is Dexter's dark mirror. I wish he was around more because he should haunt the narrative more often.

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?

I hate the Starscream haters who say that we like him due to "Oh you all make him all innocent, and a baby, but he's insane and terrible but you don't see that. He's not a victim he hurts people" (Basing this off literal interpretations of him from people who hate or hold no liking for him that I've seen)

Like stfu in my head I'm making him so insane and insecure and yes there is innocence but that's now erased so fuck off from my 'will kill for being forced to do a small task that annoys him' son.

Also there's a reason why everyone who actually has a brain cell says that he's a victim is because he is one.

Like there's no way you look at him and his fans who some have been victims to different types of abuse seeing themselves in him, AND THINK THAT HE'S NOT A VICTIM.
