Lurking near the corner of her paddock, the Indominus lowered herself onto her forearms and blended with her surroundings. In such an enclosed space, she had very little space for her to run around. She had stalked around her paddock, eating the food that had been dropped onto the floor of the paddock. The white scaled dinosaur shifted, green leaves appearing on her scales as she listened for the click-clack of slightly iconic heels.
Tapping her claws against the leaf-covered ground, she waited until the woman grew closer before she sneaked forward. She still blended in with the tree cover, although her eyes shined through the arboreal halo. Tilting her head to the side, she studied the surroundings as she narrowed her eyes. She kept inching forward until she skirted back, almost turning to duck behind a tree. She shifted then, scrambling to get dressed before she almost ran back into the clearing.Â
“Hey, lady!” she yelled, winching at the scratch in her voice. “Are you just gonna stay up there all day? Aren’t you in charge of this place?”
She put her weight mostly on her back foot and crossed her arms in front of her chest, baring her teeth in the slightest challenge. Did it carry across the species gap? The young shifter could only hope the threat held some measured weight.
