we have finished his pain meds and while I can tell he's more uncomfortable, he's also acting more like himself during his wakeful periods. his appetite is very good. he's having very soft stool from the antibiotics but I'm giving him a probiotic and I have some GI dry food I'll give him for lunch if it persists into today. he's graduated to supervised time outside his crate as long as someone is with him.
his sites look good. the cystotomy incision (which is MASSIVE btw, I don't think I've mentioned that before but it's probably two inches long) is healing nicely for how it was sutured (a little sloppy imo ๐) and only has a few red spots where I think some of the internal sutures are causing irritation. no biggie. the PU site is CLOSING! his hole looks really really good and there are only two spots where there's persistent scabbing and grossness. no redness or discharge so ๐ค๐ป he's doing a good job. I had a stress dream last night that he got his cone off and licked the whole thing open ๐ฌ
