Some face details, I just gave her some basil glowiness, some flush and hair freckles. Nothing too exciting in my opinion but I think it turned out pretty well considering it was my first time doing flush. I had a fun time choosing what colors to use and where to put them but I can see that it's not going to happen again anytime soon

Some hand and shadow details. This was actually my very first time using color theory for shadow work and at first I was so upset, I kept thinking that you could obviously tell it's blue on orange but now, the morning after, I think it turned out pretty good! Especially for my first time doing proper shadows and especially because I fucking suck at shadowing!

Some more shadows and Balo's signature. I figured I'd move it somewhere not noticeable so it didn't get drowned out by all the colors. Also a bit of a closeup of the dress. I didn't like the original pallet as I thought the yellow clashed with her skin and made her look pale so I switched it for some soft blues, green, and bits of red to represent wisdom, courage, and power.

The master sword!!! I had a ton of trouble shading just because the way Balo shaded it, wherever I tried adding highlights it was still way too dark and wherever I added shadows? Didn't even bother, whole are was already dark. Not going to complain too much though as the whole piece gave me a bit as to where all the shadows were supposed to be and I appreciated that!
