#junkan week

Mikan's hands were cold. A nurse's hand. Junko Enoshima leaned into them from where they laid across her forehead with a groan, seeking out the relief of heat from her fever addled mind, her skin flushed and uncomfortably warm, even as she shivered. Mikan tutted at whatever temperature she felt there, frowning and pulling away; Junko whined at the loss, and Mikan shushed her gently. “It's okay, Junkie-bear, your Mikan is still here.” She assured, flicking her bangs back before leaving entirely—a part of Junko wanted to grab her hands and pull them back to her forehead, but she felt too weak to even do that. “I'm not leaving, love. For a long time, when Mikan panicked, she had no one to comfort her. In fact, she had the opposite- people who seemed determined to making her crying, hyperventilating sobs even more intense. There was a tangible cruelty in her life; people seemed determined to make her hell worse and worse, and there was no love to be found. Until Junko Enoshima. This day might have some of my favorite works in it! I think these two + yesterday's heaven prompt + tomorrow's hope fill are my favorites. I actually wrote these two in reverse order. The comfort prompt also has my favorite nickname featured in these works: Junkie-bear. I adore overly affectionate, cheesy nicknames. Plus... bear. Horrible, cutesy nicknames are amazing. I wish I put that nickname in EVEN MORE of these works, because that's how you know someone's absolutely lovesick. (Which! Fits for the work a lot, considering the title!) Another thing- this day, the despair fill prompt has the non-abusive dynamic, set in a despair universe... and the hope prompt has the unhealthy dynamic set in a non despair universe. Funny how that works out, huh? It's also .... a bit similar to what I have planned for Me and Ms. Wolf, but... it's different enough I can justify it? Honestly I like how it turned out a fair amount...

Good morning Junkan Nation!!!!! Time for Day 2 with a combo of "Repair" & the Fantasy AU!

Just the repair is from death- To be fair when it comes to love, what's so wrong with some (mega illegal) necromancy?

Also Zombie Junko is incredibly fun to draw- plus my excuse to reference Rotty Tops-

Day 1 of Junkan Week with the prompt "warm"!! What better way to spend an evening than by the fire with your lover? Just ignore the screaming...or don't. They certainly don't seem to mind it.

“Do you like hot cocoa, Mikan-senpai?” Her eyes are glancing at her inquisitively. Mikan blushed, heat rising to her cheeks from where she sits by the window looking at the snow. “I've never had it,” she admits, to which Junko raised her eyebrows. “Never?” She asks her, before she shakes her head, seemingly coming to the answer herself. “Well, why don't we change that?” [Junkan Week Side:Hope, Day One: Warm.].

Junkan Week is upon us! I'm doing both the hope and despair prompts for each day, so look forward to 14 Junkan works! Woah boy! For the first hope prompt, we have warm; this work is all about Mikan and Junko sharing hot chocolate together! Very fluffy but does make minor mention of Mikan's past sexual abuse. For the first despair prompt, we have cold! It's a fic about post-Junko's death & FF finding Mikan. So like. Warning for implications of Mikan sewing an unspecified body part of Junko's corpse to herself? Yeesh that's a wild sentence.
