#PeppermintEssentialOil Botanical name: #Menthapiperita Description: #PeppermintEssentialoil is an #essentialoil which is extracted through #steamdistillation process from the partially dried top of the #Peppermint plants. Peppermint or #Menthapiperita is a cross between water-mint and spearmint. It is a perennial plant that can grow from 12 to 35 inch tall. The stem and leaves of this plant are hairy and its flowers are purple in colour. It grows rapidly when supply of water is good, and also in shady areas. As the flowering starts at the top of the plant, leaves are collected and dried to extract the #essentialoil. The cultivated plants are always much better for the purpose in comparison to the wild peppermint plants.
