He’s laying languid in the heat, limbs limply sprawled across the wooden floor, and a fan gently blowing tufts of his sweat matted hair skyward. He used to be accustomed to harsh summer weather  — living in California didn’t allow for much else — but having been through a Korean winter dulled his tolerance, leaving him weakened when the forecast hit a rather rough 93. 

He was attempting to pay at least some attention to the game Junhui had up on the screen, but he’d already begun writing his own eulogy in his head. All he’d come up with was “Skip was a cool guy,” as his brain was gradually turning into an actual fried egg. 

“Jun.... I think........ I’m dying.” 

He looked up at his roommate from his position on the ground, putting on the most pained expression he could muster.
