You had locked yourself in your room since you had said goodbye to your boyfriend Jack three days prior for him to be in Australia for when he goes on I'm A Celebrity, a popular show in the UK.

"Y/n just let me in." You unlock the door to find not only Josh but Joe and Conor there with him.

"Why is everyone coming to check on me? I'm fine, guys, really. It's not like I'm falling into depression without him here." All three boys glare at you. "Okay fine, so I'm not the same as I was when he left but that's because he's going to be gone for three weeks."

"We just thought we'd keep you company," Conor said and you stopped your little rant.

"Yea we brought some of your favorite movies, some popcorn, and there's ice cream in the freezer. And we're just gonna have a best friends movie sleepover type thing." Joe excitedly says making you giggle.

You and the buttercream were gathered around at the Maynard/pieters flat. All the boys had come around to film some videos with each other. Halfway through filming a Q&A video with Joe, your phone started ringing. "Shoot, Conor can you hand me my phone?" Conor brings it over and you look at the caller ID.

Unknown Number

"The hell?!"

"Who is disrupting my video?" Joe says in a very deep yet funny voice.

"I don't know. Are you going to let me answer?" You ask as you answer the call and move it up to your ear.

"Hello?" You ask into the phone.

"Y/n? It's Jack."

"Jack? Why are you calling? Aren't you supposed to be out of cell service?" All of the boys' attention turns to you.

"Yea. Funny story, but I'm actually at the airport right now."

"Why are you at the airport? Are you okay? Where are you going?"

"Home, y/n. I'm coming home."

Tears brim your eyes as you think about Jack coming back so early. "Wait why are you coming back?"

"There's been stuff in the press about me apparently and so the producers and my manager decided to pull me from the show and send me home," Jack explains, sadness apparent in his voice.

"Babe I'm sorry."

"It's okay. Just whatever you do, don't google my name." He says unto the phone.

"What? Why?"

"Just don't. I'll see you in a few hours. I gotta board the plane. Bye, gorgeous."

"Bye Love." And then the line went dead.

"What was that about?" Josh asked.

"Jack's coming home. Said the producers and his manager decided to pull him out because of some stuff, then said don't google his name but I kinda wanna know what he's talking about." You explain to the boys.

"Yea you defiantly don't want to google him," Mikey says looking up from his phone.

"Why?"

"There are over 100 articles about him and they aren't good."

"So you're saying the press has basically been attacking him?"

"For the most part, yes."

The boys drove you to the airport a few hours later and you stood at the arrivals exit gate, waiting and looking for the younger Maynard brother. After 30 minutes of searching, you see him walk through the gates and you ran towards him. He dropped the small duffle he had and caught you as you reached his arms.

"I missed you so much!" You say, your voice muffled by his jacket.

"I missed you too babe." He said pulling you into a tighter hug.

"Now you have some explaining to do." You said pulling away from the hug

"So what are you going to do about all of this?"You ask him, you both sitting on the bed of your shared room.

"Well, I'm going to make a video explaining what's going on the viewers. They deserve to know my side."

"Jack, what are you thinking?" You ask looking in his eyes.

"Nothing, I'm just worried what this situation will do to everything that I've worked hard for." He says looking away.

"Jack I know you. You think this whole thing is your fault."

"No, I don't."

"Jack..." you say, giving him the 'I know your lying' look.

"Okay... Yes, I'm thinking that. But it's only because it is." Jack says.looking at you again.

"Jack, this is not your fault. No one cared about any of these tweets until you went on the show. This conversation that probably isn't even real didn't pop up until the press brought up the tweets. You are an amazing person who cares about every single person that follows you. Everyone has their setbacks and there are going to be more. Don't let this one situation tear you down." You say placing your hand on his cheek. "It's going to get harder but you will bounce back."

"But what if I don't?" Jack asks tears welling up in his eyes.

"But what if you do? And even if you don't, I'm here for you, every step of the way."

"You’re the best girlfriend in the world. You know that?" Jack says pulling you in for a short and sweet kiss but still with so much emotion.

"I know." You respond, pulling away from the kiss. "Now come on, we have a birthday to celebrate." You grab his hand and pull him up and towards the closet.

"I think I'm gonna make that video after I'm done getting ready."

"Okay, do you want me in here when you film it?" You say from the bathroom where you were doing your makeup.

"No I'll be fine, it's going to be a quick film too and then we can go out and have a great time." He says pulling on a jacket, now being fully ready.

"Alright, come out to the living room when you're ready." You say and walk out of the room and into the main room of the flat.

About an hour later, Jack came into the living room completely ready to leave. "Okay the video is uploaded, I don't look like I've been crying for three days. Let's get out of here and have a nice night out with the lads."

"Are you sure you still want to go out tonight? We don't have to go out." You say, standing from the couch and walking over to him.

"Yes, I do. You said don't let this bring me down and I'm not going to let this ruin my birthday."

"Well then let me get my purse and shoes and we'll head out to meet the boys."
