뻔한 멜로디 — JW & JH
Stay rooted to your trainee and indie days. Don’t forget your original intentions, what led you to be who you are in the present.
Junhee wasn’t one to forget. Reminders were whispered and written on a daily basis, her actions influenced by her original goals despite most being fulfilled already. The main one had yet to be achieved as it involved a long-term investment, something she was determined to focus on. Still, being a well-known and respected artist might take a lifetime—oh, but she did not mind.
After all, she wanted to do music for the rest of her life.
Lately, her schedules were less chaotic. Her comeback was over, the year-end performances as well. She became a regular guest in radio shows again, providing the entertainment with covers and discussions filled with smiles and laughs. With many holes in her agenda, she had also attended a few smaller events in Hongdae. In order to reminisce the old times, she visited many cafes and stayed behind to observe, mostly encouraging the aspiring artists or even those who were performing for their own enjoyment. There were occasions when she would play a song or two, only to liven up the atmosphere if an employee, a customer or even the owner of the coffee shop ever recognized her.
Oh—him again?
Her ears followed the acoustic that was muffled by walls. Aside the little struggles, she had reached her destination, only to see a familiar face playing guitar while a small crowd watched him with adoration and awe. She stood outside for a moment. Her feet led her inside once the song neared the end. The claps resonated in the café and the soloist soon imitated, still heading to a fixed location.
“We meet again.” She spoke calmly, applauding the younger man still, the sound soon fading to let her voice be heard clearly among the hustle and bustle of the shop. A smile tugged on both corners of her lips. “I can tell that you have improved compared to the previous times. Are you busy at the moment? I thought we can somehow talk since we can’t seem to have a proper discussion without being interrupted by other responsibilities.”

There was this nagging feeling at the back of his neck again, just as if someone had kept watching from a distance. A long, pale hand slapped on that spot to calm the imaginary itch, and Junmyeon found himself frowning. This sensation was anything but agreeable, making him slightly uncomfortable. He remembered his nanny once upon a time telling him that one would always be able to feel another pair of eyes that lingered on their frame and their body would react accordingly. Admittedly, back then he was a kid and didn't pay a lot of attention to what was said, partly because he was used to people staring at him all the damn time but it was differnt when the room was supposed to be empty, save for him.
Junmyeon turned around only to have his orbs noticing another man sitting a few meters away from him. There was a mild sense of curiosity washing over him upon glancing at the stranger and he couldn't help but wonder just why exactly the other remained so calm when he wasn't even supposed to be here that guy surely did have some nerve.
"Sorry?" He questioned, clearing his throat afterwards. "But what are you doing here?"
