I can feel sleep and all of her affects gently pressing her lips to the back of my neck, along my hands, and around my eyes; yet, I cannot return her favours, no matter how hard I reach for her.

i totally fell asleep.

sucking down menthols sweat, bloody fingers, smoke that settles along the atmosphere like an opaque fog; and somehow -- between dying slowly, watery eyes, a headache that started monday, and through the ache of my already too bruised lips that sting deliciously with each drag of the filter  along cracked skin -- i still find time to miss you.
