You know when you wake up one day and you’re thinking about something and then something or someone says the exact same thing to you? I woke up this morning ashamed of the week that I have had. I was tempted to not bother going to class today but my partner said that he’ll pick me up in the usual spot so either I would have to wait around or I can go to my meeting. I woke up thinking if I was doing weight watchers this would be a morning where I would rejoin. Seeing this message in my journal today gave me a sense that I’m on the right track, that I can get back to it. I remember my first weigh in and feeling disgusting and ashamed of myself. I am not going to let that be me.
