"Julia, can I speak to you?" William walked up to his junior. He never really paid attention to his colleague's niece, and out of the blue, the higher-ups of the dispatch asked him to work with her. "It seems that there's a difficult job, and the higher-ups wanted us to work together..."

Michelle was glaring at her pile of unfinished reports as she drank. Ignoring them was hard work. She'd fetched out her whiskey from her home town and was drinking late into the night. Some one to drink with would be welcomed, but that would involve having people she considered friends. Or someone who she could put up with and stand to spend time with. And there were very few of them. She'd even put Brandon to bed ages ago. It was just going to be one of those nights she supposed. She stretched slightly and managed to slip off her chair, falling to the ground with a thump and spilling her drink over the floor, but just ended up giggling madly to herself.
