        It was two in the afternoon, right on the dot. Ash sat across her library chair, using the nearest bookshelf as a backing while she was semi-reclined, reading through the last few pages of a novel in anticipation of her tutoring appointment. Her newest pupil was one Juliet Herbert -- such a pretty name, she thought -- freshman and Music major. Ash loved music, but thank god she wasn’t tutoring the girl in that. She’d never been able to read sheet music, and frankly, learning about music wasn’t nearly as interesting as listening to it, in her opinion. Today, their focus would be on Chemistry and Math. Those were subjects she could tackle with relative ease. When she finally heard the approaching footsteps, cerulean orbs peeked over the rim of her book, and she shut the novel with a grin. “Hey, Jules! Right on time. You ready to get started?”
