during this pandemic, i can’t work because i’m immunocompromised. in the meantime i will be starting up a redbubble to sell some of my hand lettering and a ko-fi for writing commissions.
for hand lettering, i specialize in watercolor brush pen and bouncy style. i will be posting samples on my blog with the tag ‘jules letters’.
for writing, i will do vld, bhna, and rwby. i may do oc writing if you provide detailed descriptions of the characters and scene. this can be dnd! to see samples of my work, please search ‘jules writes’. my new ao3 account is laithen, but my older one is juiliet. i also have a nsfw account, but you must dm me for that one as i do not want to post it publicly.
at this time, no prices are concrete, but for my hand lettering, i will start at $0.50 for each word. this means that character names will be $1. for quotes longer than 10 words, i will charge only $0.25 extra each word.
for my writing, my baseline will be $5 per 1k, but that is subject to change.

a few days ago, i asked you all for help to pay for medical treatment for my cockatiel, pigeon. he was severely injured and without your help i would’ve had to put him down as i wouldn’t be able to pay for it on my own. i wish i had the space to write the names of all the people who donated and reblogged the post on his cast. thank you so so so so much. i am eternally grateful and i know he is too!

just taken meds and i’m trying to get him to eat his fresh food. he’s super reluctant to use his bruised, nonbroken leg, but still gets around with his beak and wings. probably won’t be leaving him too much. every time i leave he makes contact calls. i’m just gonna assemble his new playground with him.

an update on where i’ve been
hey guys, i only just realized this account is back and running. i was suspended for like 6 months for having some unused urls but honestly in that time a lot happened and i want to just address a bit.
i’ve been doing a lot of self improvement and addressing a lot of my issues in my friendships, relationships, and real life. i’ve been doing a lot of therapy work and ultimately have come to the conclusion that spending a lot of time on tumblr and online in general just was not and will never be healthy for me. it leads to a lot of bad habits that got a lot of good people really hurt. what i can do now is really just continue focusing on what promotes a healthy environment for myself. i do love you guys, but i need to love myself more. for the time being you won’t be seeing much of me here or anywhere else. i can’t promise that i’ll even really be active. honestly, i may just end up deleting this blog altogether, but there’s a lot i’m not ready to let go of and those of you who still care about me deserve to know where i’ve been and my plan for going forward.
tldr: account got suspended, tumblr took 6 months to reinstate it, in that time realized that being online =/= healthy for me, only came on to update people who may check on me
