Judging Yourself The beauty of being able to notice thoughts like that is that you can see them for what they are before you act on them. That moment of reflection gives you time to let those thoughts go before they hurt you more or hurt somebody else. We judge ourselves in our thoughts all the time. That is a strong habit. When you notice your thoughts making you think you are an asshole, label that thought as a judgement and then let it go. If you are in the habit of judging other people and putting them into categories of naughty and nice, then those judgments invariably turn back on you. If you think mostly good things about other people you will also think good things about yourself. If you are harsh with others, you will be harsh on yourself. Whenever you notice yourself falling into that habit, neutralize the harshness, and let the judgment go. Keep noticing those thoughts. Notice how you judge yourself and others. Whenever you catch yourself judging, say to yourself “judging”, not good, not bad, then let the thoughts go. — Zenmister, from an Ask Post #judgingYourself #judgingThoughts #judgingPeople #thoughts #zenmister #zenwords https://www.instagram.com/p/CaCvqpYuo_J/?utm_medium=tumblr
