This is my favourite Manic’s tune by far! It’s got the same abrasiveness as Nirvana’s epic ‘In Utero’ album. This was originally suppose to be used on the 1995 Sylvester Stallone mediocre film that was Judge Dredd, but was axed, which to the Manic’s credit, was no loss to them. This is also the last song recorded with the group before Richey Edwards mysterious disappearance! I only got into this band properly the last year or so, and what was I thinking disregarding them for all those years? They have some landmark moments, ‘A Design For Life’ being a huge pinnacle for the Welshies, also the haunting and gripping third studio album ‘The Holy Bible’, not forgetting their scene stealing debut ‘Generation Terrorists’. Put on a pair of white drain pipes, backcomb your hair, slap on some guyliner, and play this one as loud as you possibly can.
