best rhythm game clear system
Groove Gauge
Healthbar
Score based
"Groove Gauge" includes games like Beatmania, Pop'n Music, Chunithm; increase a bar up to a certain point to clear the song, if you miss you lose bar. (Chunithm's groove gauge is just really long.)
"Healthbar" includes games like Dance Dance Revolution and certain special gamemodes in other games (like courses in Chunithm or maimai); if you get to the end with any health left, you clear. if you reach zero HP at any point, you fail. This includes 1 HP instant death (or anything that fails you if you get a certain judgement).
"Score based" includes games like jubeat, maimai, and Rhythm Heaven; get a certain score to clear the song.
If you don't know which category applies to your game send a reply talking about its clear system and I will let you know. (if replies are disabled for whatever reason go to the original version of this post)
If you can't decide between any options, you are allowed to pick randomly between them and it's not really that big of a deal so no worries.
