1. Favorite stand alone book? The first one that popped into my head was The Fault In Our Stars, by John Green. (Lol obviously it’s by John Green, that’s just common knowledge.)
2. Favorite book series? I will forever love Harry Potter, but I feel the need to also mention my other like top two series because if you follow me, you must know how much I love HP. So a few other series I love include: Chaos Walking, Divergent, The Hunger Games, the Dublin Murder Squad, the Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, and I have recently grown extremely fond of Gemma Doyle. Oops. That was way more than two.
3. Favorite tv show? Lost.
4. Favorite fictional character? Oh gosh. Movie: Anakin Skywalker. TV show: Sawyer from Lost. Book: hOW DO I CHOOSE?!
5. Favorite ending to a book? The ending to The Girl Who Played With Fire might forever be my favorite ending of any book. So fucking badass.
6. Thing you’re most excited for this year? Hopefully finishing my first book (crossed fingers, praying, hoping, dreaming, working, eeeeee!)
7. Favorite music: Classic rock.
8. What do you do in your spare time? I consume books greedily and eagerly. And I also go outside. Sometimes.
9. Book that you think everyone should read? Beauty Queens, by Libba Bray! Because reading that book, for me, proved that you really can’t judge a book by its cover. Or title, for that matter. At first glance, I assumed this book to be some kind of cheeky, girly-girls-only read, and I rolled my eyes and nearly passed it up. But then I decided to read its synopsis and thought, “Hmm, it has potential to be interesting. Or hilarious, at least.” But what I got was a seriously epic, fun read that was full of adventure and humor, but also contained lots of seriously thought-provoking points about social issues in our society, ranging from LGBT issues, to “evil-corporation” issues, to feminist issues. Just all kinds of good stuff. It is a must-read for everyone, not just teenage girls!!! (Though there are a few things that are particularly important for teen girls!)
10. Favorite author? I never know how to answer this question. I love too many, but Ray Bradbury is one of my all-time faves and I haven’t mentioned anything about him yet, so I’ll choose him.
11. Best plot twist in any story: When Scabbers turned out to be Peter Pettigrew in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
MY (nerfighterfeels) QUESTIONS! MWAHAHA!
1. What was the best thing that happened to you in 2012?
My boyfriend, and our first seven months together. He is one of the best friend's I've ever had and I didn't know if it would ever be more.
2. What is your favorite holiday?
Christmas! All the traditions and thoughtfulness for family and friends, you never see that any other time of year. It's absolutely thrilling.
3. What is your favorite book series?
Oh boy these are getting harder. I guess I would have to go with Harry Potter. There is such a legacy that goes with them, its like its own mini culture (especially around here). Those books come with so many memories and emotions. I hold them close to my heart.
4. Describe your most recent dream:
Um, happened today actually. There was a gunman in the grocery store I was in with my dad. Except it wasn't a normal nightmare because I was narrating it. In the past tense. "It wasn't until the car stalled that I knew, we were going to die." Horrifying actually. My boyfriend thinks its proof that I'm destined to be a writer.
5. Do you have any tattoos, and if so, what do you have? And if you don’t, would you ever consider getting any tattoos??
No tattoos currently! I would consider it, but I haven't given it too much thought.
6. What was your worst vacation/road trip/camping experience?
I am scarred for life. I will never again enjoy a road trip or read in a car. My dad took us on a 24 hour road trip when I was little and I was reading, like the book worm I am, and I got sick. We didn't even stop for the night. I. Am. Scarred.
John Green!!!! Looking for Alaska and The Fault in our Stars ohmygosh. He is the most eloquent, inspiring, thought provoking author I have stumbled upon thus far. I could read John Green for the rest of my life.
No, allergic to most furry cute things. :( These questions are starting to make me feel very boring.
9. You’re stranded on a desert island and can only have three items. There is plenty of food and water and a shelter magically built itself so don’t worry about survival. Just three things you’d most want with you. Go:
I'm not good in solitary confinement, can I bring my boyfriend? The Harry Potter Box Set, and the movie The Holiday. Its my favorite, no one has heard of it, GO LOOK IT UP! Kate Winslet, Jack Black, Jude Law, Cameron Diaz
My brother. He severed the connection between us, and it probably won't ever mend itself.
To not screw up any relationships. My friends and family are the most important things in my life and they all have little pieces of me. It would also probably be good to figure out what I want to do with my life. Maybe?
