why can’t these two chars just have some damn good relationship without it devolving into a romantic/sexual one? It is SHITTY

i just don’t feel it. It’s because i could stand whito male holden who’s previous girlfriend was so masterfully fridged i didn’t even realise BEFORE bc he’s a genuinely sympathetic morally ok guy. like, he’s alright (now. at the start he was much cooler)

Naomi, a genius. I feel SCARED for her because i feel like Holden’s a tether that’s gonna drag her down. and the demands of a romantic relationship blaH this is always a thing i associate

do i think she should be forever alone? I don’t even KNOW the what or how of her emotional vulnerability/intimacy needs very much what she’d like but I’d like her to CONTINUE TO BE STRONG. as shit is gonna go down horribly as it has done

do i think Holden is worth Naomi? NO! why is this even a thing i consider? I don’t KNOW. but as this show is gonna go for it they’d BETTER prove me wrong and show Holden to be a cool ok. a cool guy who likes softens all up and communicates some serious ‘wowzers i want to make you feel good’

I just don’t see how Naomi could be attracted to Holden? or why Holden could be attracted to Naomi? Like?? I DON’T SEE IT???
