Aight boys time for some sappy shit.

I cannot stress enough how much this fandom has helped me, specifically in my emotional state. I have a lot of issues when it comes to it, especially with my self esteem, self image, anxiety, all of the messes that make up the person you know as lefty. Previously, before I joined this fandom, I was very hostile towards the idea of joining one. I only made original content (I’m not saying it’s bad to make original content, I make it all the time) and never liked the idea of joining a dreaded, horrible thing called a fandom. I’ve liked popular things, but never contributed anything towards their followings because I’ve seen so many good fandoms be turned to shit. Needless to say, I was scared of them.

And then one day, my friend showed me a video that I deemed strange but interesting. A pink cyclops circle going on a rampage as two squares fled from this furious beast as it destroyed everything in its path. I searched for more things about this game, and just like that, I was sucked in. I loved the music, the style, the movements, everything was beautiful to me. But I still didn’t have any interest in joining a fandom.

Then I learned that the fandom was rather small and pretty friendly towards one another, so I hesitantly joined, sharing a doodle with Annihilate. I took it down after it got “too many notes” because I’m a shy blob and I didn’t want to give off a front that made me look like I drew fandom shit. As days went on, my friend introduced me to figures in the fandom, who I followed. Soon after, I discovered their askblogs, and followed those, too. I kind of enjoyed this, but was still scared to share my ideas about the game. After all, my style of monsters and terrifying beasts from the deepest points of hell does not mix with a cutesy, simplistic style of shapes. But i eventually convinced myself that it wouldn’t hurt to try.

The blog didnt and still doesn’t have much attention, but I’m okay with that! I don’t need a huge following or tons of fan art every fresh Friday to be happy. I just want to make my followers excited as they see giant monsters battle one another while destroying buildings in the process. I can’t put the amount of love I have for this fandom in a single sentence, it’s just so wonderful. The majority of you are so sweet and respectful that it doesn’t scare me that much anymore. I couldn’t have done this without my friends, though.

So please, follow @triumphentfandomchaos , the pal who introduced me to this great series. @plaquebeat , @littlecircleasshole or @small--crcle, an amazing friend and the greatest motivator for me. And @nontoxic-markers , or @just-asks-and-answers, who inspired me to get this askblog running and is as sweet as a peach covered in sugar.

And many more inspos that I cannot list because there’s so many of them. All of you are wonderful artists, people, creators, storytellers, etc.

So all I have to say is just.
