Horror Flick: Do you like scary movies? If so, which one is your favourite?

I wouldn’t say I’m against horror movies. But I don’t have any particular favourite either. I don’t watch them often.

ooc note: She’s probably thinking something along the lines of, “besides, I see enough horror on the job for me to seek it out for the sake of enjoyment.”

Mummy: What is your biggest fear?

Hmm… probably getting told that someone I care for has been badly hurt… wouldn’t make it… or killed.

ooc note: Although these are certainly some of the biggest fears she is conscious of, I would argue that her truest fear would relate to her kidnapper from her childhood. She often has nightmares of him escaping from prison and coming after her to finish what he had started. She wouldn’t admit to it, but she never properly healed from that trauma years ago.

Broomstick: What exciting places have you traveled to?

I used to travel a lot when I was younger and still living with my mother. I suppose visiting new places was the one good thing about having to move around constantly with her. Now, let’s see… I do enjoy visiting ancient ruins, but would that classify as exciting? Hmm.. watching the aurora borealis way up in northern Canada was quite exciting… but… if I am to be truly honest, I think one of my most exciting ‘travel’ memories was that special invitation into the Smithsonian’s archives.

10. How does your muse react to possibly dangerous situations? Do they face them head-on, or do they plan out their actions first?

That quite depends on the situation. It’s in her to jump in and act, especially when it comes to saving someone, but she’s also very analytical and calculating, and would prefer to think first, even for a moment; she’s a fast thinker. So it all depends on the urgency of the situation.

20. What is your muse’s opinion about flower crowns?

No specific opinion. They’re pretty, but that’s all she could say about them.

30. Does your muse like to accessorize? What are their favourite pieces of accessories?

9. How does your muse feel about storms? Are they afraid of them, or do they calm them?

She’s not afraid of them, and they’re not particularly calming to her either. Instead, she’s intrigued by them, more often than not, she actually finds them exciting. The only time she’s bothered by a storm is when she’s trying to sleep and the thunder is too loud, or the lightning is too bright, or if there’s a crime scene that’s getting ruined because of the storm. 

19. Does your muse have good table manners? How do they feel about bad table manners?

Absolute tip-top table manners, especially around people she’s not familiar with, but even with people she’s close to, or when alone, she’s generally a clean eater. She’s not particularly strict about others’ table manners, but chewing with your mouth open, talking while eating and spitting food everywhere, or having especially dirty or greasy hands while eating and touching everything are... well pet-peeves.

29. Does your muse prefer to sleep under many layers of blankets or only under a few?

Depends on how cold she’s feeling, but she always prefers to sleep under some sort of cover. (Answered).

5. Does your muse prefer coffee or tea?

From these two choices, it’s definitely tea.

Depending on how cold or warm she’s feeling. That being said thought, she always likes to sleep under some sort of cover, even if it’s just a bed sheet.

25. Does your muse prefer calling or texting?

She often texts as it is more convenient, be it while she’s working, or if she finally has a moment’s quiet and doesn’t want to hear anything...

26. Of the sun, stars, and the moon, which is your muse’s favourite?

Now this is a difficult question. I’m sure she has some suns, stars, and moons that she is very intrigued by, but my knowledge of anything space is quite limited, and I’m too tired to research, so... I’ll skip this for the time being. (◔◡◔✿)

27. Does your muse prefer lots of friends or just a few close ones?

Very few. She’s not good at keeping up with contacts, and she doesn’t open up to people, even if she is quite friendly. It’s not in her nature to seek connections or form attachments.

13. Does your muse like daytime or nighttime more?

Both are fine, she has no preference.

14. How well does your muse sleep?

She has two modes: 1- Either her constantly active mind wouldn’t let her rest in piece, and she’ll constantly wake up, have nightmares, dream of work, etc. or 2- She’s way too tired and crashes completely. When that happens, she doesn’t remember if she had dreamt anything, and usually wakes up a little disoriented.

Normal, restful sleep is not very common.

15. What are your muse’s thoughts on love? If they are not in a relationship, do they believe that they will ever find a perfect someone for them?

She doesn’t think of it much. She isn’t in a relationship, and she doesn’t think she will find someone “perfect” for her. The idea of a “perfect” person seems so absurd to her. That person would have to be compatible with a lot of things, and it just seems unlikely. But even if theoretically such person could exist, they’d have to live knowing that her work and responsibilities are her top priority. She’s a perfectionist, and she’d want to give her 100% to her relationship, but doesn’t trust herself enough in being able to do that, so that will be an obstacle. Plus, her work, because she doesn’t simply limit herself to her CSI work, is dangerous, and said partner would be at risk being close to her. Now that’s not even the tip of the iceberg, but just to put it simply, whenever she thinks of herself in a relationship, (since her mother nags at her often), she can’t help but think of all the obstacles and problems that would come with it. [Plus, she’s very demiromantic, she’d have to spend quite the bit of time with someone that she is compatible with for her to even notice any feelings develop in her. What’s the likelihood when she practically lives in the crime lab?]

16. Does your muse believe in luck? How about fate?

6. Is your muse good with keeping on schedule for meetings, appointments, or events, or are they always late? Or, are they always a bit early?

More often than not, she’s on time. Unless the matter is quite important, she likely wouldn’t show up early, simply because she’s too busy to invest in showing up early. She rarely misses appointments or meetings, but that’s not to say she never misses them.

22. Is your muse good at math? Do they like it, or do they hate it?

She’s good at it, enjoys it, and uses it all the time.

24. How does your muse feel about bugs and insects?

She doesn’t mind them. In her line of work, she runs into them a lot, besides, there’s a lot one can learn from observing insects.
