this is the guy who wrote "bordertown" on the Tildon Krautz recording.
he's from Southwest Missouri, close to the Arkansas border. just a scant 20-30 miles away from the birthplace of Walmart, even. he's a habitual songwriter-type. must have written multiple hundreds of songs by now.
he's a 1/3 member of the group The Banks of Trent Creek, of which the TK as recorded 3 of their songs. Dirty Joe, Bordertown and It Ain't Easy.
sometimes he reminds me of Seth Faergoalzia(www.dufus.tv), but his roots in the bluegrass and family folk tradition keep him rooted in that americana sound i really love.
