As of this writing we're 90% funded, from 5,043 backers, with twelve hours to go. We've sent our final email. Now it's down to the last push on social media.
If we make it, JourneyQuest is renewed for a fourth season. If we don't, the story (in filmed form) comes to an end. Either way, we're honored by the support and trust that you've put in us with your pledges.
How do we succeed?
As the comments have made clear, fans are still learning about this campaign for the first time. Today is all about making the biggest splash that we can across social media, boosting the signal to reach everyone who loves JQ. Before the Campaign Ends: Managing Your Pledge
With so many new backers arriving today -- and so many project updates -- it could be easy to miss crucial information, so we're putting it right here before pledges get locked in.
-- Check your pledge. Is it the right amount? Did you select the correct reward?
-- Do not add extra money for shipping, upgrades, or add-ons. Reduce your pledge to ONLY what you need for your pledge level and what you want to contribute to production costs. Our stated policy for this campaign is that any amounts pledged in excess of the cost of a reward level will go straight into our Season Four production budget. (We know that some people still may not get the message; we'll handle those situations on a case-by-case basis during BackerKit surveys.)
-- Adjust your pledge. If you pledged more than you can afford, please reduce your pledge to a level that's comfortable for you. We would rather fail than hear that someone is eating beans for a month. This is just a show. Rent and food are more important!
Miniature Reveal: Perf & Sword!
Jason Wiebe just sent in art for the first completed miniature in the new JourneyQuest set!
We asked him this time to present Perf as the hero he wants to be, boldly standing his ground with sword and spellbook. If you have the mini of Perf running away from the JQ3 campaign, you can now create your own moments of comedy by switching between the two as necessary! We're excited to share more designs as Jason completes them!
