Journal report 8/28/18 (birthday!)
202 words in 30 mins on Priest and the Hound WIP before 9:30 am - AGAIN! Whoot! As reward, here is the initial description of the Hound for your critique and enjoyment:
His face stripped of all expression, the Hound knew he cut a menacing figure in the gloom. Thick leather body armor and sturdy boots were lined and edged with the skins of otter, badger, and fox. His meaty forearms were bare, but his strong calves were well wrapped with wool and leather strips to the knee. A huge bear skin cape emphasized the width of his shoulders and a full brindle wolf hide acted as his hood, tail trailing down to dangle between his thighs. His tall frame was made taller by the furred head draped over his own, casting much of his already ochre obscured face in shadow. Loops of rope and several large knives hung from his belt, along with wide short sword of bronze. The Roman gladius.was old and rare, an unexpectedly elegant weapon for a coarse mercenary.

393 words in 60 minutes on the Priest and the Hound WIP. I kinda got on a roll and wanted to finish the scene while inspiration was...at least lukewarm.
Tonight I avoided writing until late. But writing happened (a fair bit of it). This marks 9 consecutive days of writing - roughly 200 words each time. Whoot.
