Hello, fellow Joshu enjoyers / haters!

Since 2021, Joshu had been a comfort character and a time-to-time obsession to me. Despite his morally gray nature, I think he is a very well-written character; full of nuance, unique, and interesting.

I'm very aware that some extremist and bigoted individuals resonate with Joshu's persona - trough in a quite shallow, unthinking way. However, that is not my case at all: I'm a woman, LGBTQ and against any form of harassment.

This is all fiction. Pixels on a screen won't make me hurt real people. I really just run this small blog as a way to celebrate a character who makes me happy. I accept criticism, different opinions and I'm in favor to the right to debate, as long as it's done politely. 🥸

Overall, despite some backlash, I've mostly received support and have had so much fun within this small community. Some people with similar tastes and views have even told me they feel less alone and support this initiative, and that's more than enough to make me fulfilled.
