Hello mutual I have another song that makes me think of Jornir.

So, I can’t find the lyrics ANYWHERE so I had to write them down and translate them myself. But it’s not all that reliable due to the auditory processing difficulties of it all. I’m quite unsure about the third verse, they might as well have been singing about literally anything else. The grammar is quite oldschool so that made it a bit harder to translate, so the structure varies a little.
Oh well, translation:
I hide the first stone in the earth
And take a sip of the blue
Bury1 it with my undershirt
I leave the second stone by the littleleaf2
And take a staff when I go
I light fires along the way
The third stone flies over the mountains
It takes a leap outward
And disappears in the horizon
I put the fourth stone in the flame
And heat winter and spring
And the quiet treasure in my heart
The wind sounded like water
The fifth stone falls heavy into oblivion
Like the evening rain in my mind
I leap with light steps
The last stone falls quiet in the harmony
Against the butterfly hole 3 in my hand
And gives the weight my thought is worth
1 ”bury” here is of the funeral kind, but it’s mostly just an older version of ”gräva ner” so its not that significant but it’s still interesting
2 beloved tree Tilia cordata, native to Europe also known as the small-leaved lime, small-leaved linden, littleleaf, littleleaf linden, pry, and pry tree.
3 it really sounds like she’s singing ”fjärilshål” (butterfly hole) and I thought that’s like a name for the holes in a violin, but I can’t find anything about it anywhere. This is makes me crazy
