jordan being the only one in the friend group who knows how to drive makes so much sense to me bc it is like, that hollywood teenage dream of having a car and finding so much freedom and independence in just being able to escape. especially being at home with paul and kayla, just having a means of getting away must have been so integral to their mental health and finally allowed them to feel like something was finally theirs?

one of the very few things about jordan that i wish they would expand on more is having more hopeful scenes w/ london. a lot of the lightheartedness seems to be given to derek a lot, which is fine and i enjoy his comedic timing, but london's jordan, especially in that scene in an earlier episode with sam, is so insightful and comforting in a way that feels very authentic to jordan's realism vs. idealism. it's just so raw, and real, and a lil sarcastic which i adore sm.

one day i will touch on cipher's insistence on bringing up jordan's perceived weakness and their feelings about it........ brain swirling....

i just love how, even amidst the anger, jordan is trying their best to find light peeking through. with sam, with cate, even marie, there is always an undercurrent of care in what they do. they're angry because they care, they're disappointed because they can't help but to care about these people who have objectively been important to them in some way or another, only to feel betrayed by what they've done or who they've become. and even so, in their darkest moments, they still try to do what's good — whether that means saving them from themselves just this once, or cracking jokes as a callback to what happened years ago.

jordan feeling the need to present as masc when they need to protect themselves and others from harm. jordan feeling like they have to prove themselves twice just to be validated as a person. jordan's abilities mainly being defensive in their masc form versus offensive in their fem form.
