Apodyopis - The act of mentally undressing someone.
“This is Jonghyun, and he will be your friend,” Kibum’s mom said as she moved a bit to the side so Kibum would see the small boy hiding behind her.
Kibum was five and Jonghyun was six, but for some reason, the other boy looked as small as he was. The little wolf looked up at his mother and she nodded gently. He approached the shy little boy with a small smile peeking from the corners of his lips, and as gently as a child could be, he took Jonghyun’s hand in his.
The small boy looked up and Kibum recognized the fear there. He looked the same whenever he woke up from a nightmare and his parents were far from the woods on a mission; he also looked like that when the storms were heavy and the lightnings rumbled up and down and all around.
“Don’t be scared,” he told the little wolf, his chubby hand giving the other’s a squeeze. “I’m Kibum, but you can call me however you like.”
Jonghyun had looked hesitant then, but in the end, after Kibum suggested they went to play with his toys, Jonhyun seemed more open and less frightened.
“Come on, Kibum! It’s hot today! Let’s go to the lake!”
Kibum felt very inclined to listen to Jonghyun’s words while simultaneously getting lost in the puppy eyes the elder was doing at him, but the more rational part of his brain kept winning. They weren’t allowed outside of their camp without adults with them. It was hunting season and everyone knew they had to be careful.
“I am not going to let anyone scream at me for hours if I can help it, Kim Jonghyun. We are not going. Your idea is a bad idea, and I won’t let you drag me with you. So be a good friend and stop trying to get us in trouble–”
It wasn’t long before a happy Jonghyun and a grumbling Kibum were making their way to the lake. Kibum’s ears were paying attention to their surroundings, but the chirping of the birds and the peaceful atmosphere of the lake told him there wasn’t anything close they should fear yet, and so he allowed himself to relax a bit.
"See? There is nothing to worry about,” the other wolf said as he took off his shirt.
Kibum’s hazel eyes widened at the display and he quickly avoided the sight, though his eyes flicked back to Jonghyun’s frame every now and then as a blush took over his cheeks. Kibum made a noncommittal noise and crossed his arms against his chest. It was inevitable for him to let his attention lavish onto the beautiful back of his best friend and the way that slender waist turned into small hips. The way his shoulder blades could be seen as he stretched out should have been classified as a sin, and there was the itch of wonder making Kibum’s eyes direct to the limbs still covered by clothes.
Kibum caught himself on time and looked away again. This was not normal. This was not natural, he repeated himself.
“Get in the water already. You stink,” he said, not meaning even a word of it.
But Jonghyun was used to this and after giving him a sweet, sunny smile, he proceeded to take off his pants before Kibum screeched and threw his hands up.
“Yah! I don’t want to see you naked! Give your friend a warning would you?” the younger wolf said as he turned around, the tips of his ears too red.
The elder was oblivious though. He didn’t know anything about the actual thoughts crossing the younger’s mind. Kibum looked down at the grass, a thread of dejection passing through his heart.
