“i’m really sorry for dragging you out here, i just needed a little walk to clear my mind but i didn’t want come alone.” you say to jongho.
“hey, don’t ever apologise, i’m always here for you when you need me to be.” he smiles and taps your elbow with his. you wasn’t feeling your best and jongho was always the one who’s make your day better, he just has his charms somehow and it always works.
your favourite place to visit was the beach, you both couldn’t care less if it was summer or winter, the beach it always was. today, it was on the cold side, which was even better because you knew there would be less people.
the two of you would simply just stroll together, very close by. you glance at jongho and admire his features secretly so he doesn’t notice, his puffy cheeks a blush red from the cold, his lips at a slight pout. you knew that you both had a thing for eachother and you knew that you’re both too shy to make the first move.
confidence suddenly takes over, you peek down to see his hands are out of his pockets, this was the perfect opportunity. you both continue walking, comfortable with eachother’s presence, you start to move your hand closer to his, and feel them brush ever so slightly, feeling the nervousness in your stomach.
jongho, as soon as he felt it, without hesitation takes your hand into his, you let out a happy, quiet sigh of relief which he seems to notice. you immediately feel warmer inside just by his touch.
“your hands are so soft, i’d love to hold them forever.” he says quietly with a shy smile. he raises his hand with yours and kisses the top of your hand and places them back down.
your stomach is exploding, head filled with many emotions, hiding it well, only showing jongho a shy smile back and squeezing his hand tighter, as you both continue to walk in comfortable silence hand in hand, wondering what will happen next.
