Music is in danger of becoming extinct.

  Aural imaginations are being suffocated by mass media.

Most so-called composers see music as a means to augment their personalities within the world. Music has become secondary to their egos.

  Music has become the expression of a source – true music is the source of an expression.

  True music requires intense listening - internal and external.

The experience of listening should connect our inner selves with the world we inhabit.

Inevitably listening can be a painful experience but it will always be illuminating.

True music exists within us and is reflected externally into the world by our choice to listen.

  We have laden music with our emotions – music is sound, only that.

  Pick up two small objects which you use in your everyday life. Stroke them together as gently as you can. Listen. When you can hear them vibrating against each other stop stroking. Repeat. Gradually try to create a stroke which does not produce any sound.
