STRIPES for #jointhepatternparty 🎊 I'm sharing paintings of clothing, so many to choose from today and I've chosen the lovely Clive Myrie! I painted him as part of #skyarts #portraitartistoftheyear #mypaotw over lockdown. (AD)Hello y'all! Tropical temperatures asks for a new skirt in a loooovely geometric/polka-dot print with bright/fluorescent☀️ yellow accents. The wax print fabric by @houseofyeshuafabrics is gorgeous yet a bit stiffer than usual. This makes it perfect to make a sculptural skirt with pleats and ofcourse pockets!! (Yess, it has😃😎). 🌈 Back in the 1st lockdown I came across #jointhepatternparty through Ruby @biskeebrisht & was inspired by her fabulous patterned outfits, the challenge and the impact it was having on her. I was struck by it being a motivator to get dressed during full lockdown & how it was being enjoyed as a participant AND a viewer plus its global reach.
