I first met John LoConte at a wedding show at Spinelli's and knew immediately that his work stood out to me, more than any other photographer. He had some of his work displayed and I remember thinking "Wow! I hope when my day comes, my pictures will be just as beautiful!" I didn't even need to look      at anyone else, I knew right away that I wanted to book John LoConte to capture our big day. I guess you could call it instinct...and I'm so glad that I went with my gut. 

I've only seen one picture so far that John captured from our wedding on      Saturday, June 6th at the Smith Barn at Brooksby Farm, and it speaks volumes. If I hadn't already felt beyond blessed and beautiful that day, he sure made me feel it! My now husband and I have already decided we will be ordering a large canvas to place it in our home. John captured every detail and moment perfectly before our wedding even began, and continued to do so throughout the night.

"We worked with John LoConte from 617 Weddings for our wedding at the State Room in May. Working with John doesn't feel like work at all...more like hanging out with a friend. From the very beginning he made us feel very      comfortable. The day of the wedding he took the most amazing shots-both posed and candid. He took control without being overbearing and had great ideas for locations, poses, etc. The photos turned out so beautifully I actually started crying when I saw the first one. He replied to emails quickly and was very easy to work with. As for the pictures themselves, we were looking for a photographer that would capture candid moments as well as a few posed portraits - John delivered on both. Most of the time we didn't even realize he was there taking pictures(which was perfect for us!), but upon receipt of the images, we      found he captured every moment. The posed pictures were also beautiful. We opted for the photos to be sent to us on a flash drive - John sent us a link to the retouched photos within a few days of the wedding, and sent the flash drive with all of the images in well under two weeks. He was punctual and very professional for our initial meeting, our engagement photo session, and our Wedding Day. John was always easy to reach via e-mail and thorough in answering our questions. We expected our wedding photos to be available two-three weeks after the wedding but John made it possible for us to view all of the photos online just two days after the wedding! He did a great job directing us, our family, and our wedding party for the posed photos. "My husband and I did not have a lengthy search process when it came to a photographer; we immediately knew that we wanted to use John LoConte from 617 Weddings. John had photographed my sister’s wedding about a year and a half earlier and between his style, quality, and affordability we knew we wanted John to be our photographer.

John arrived on our wedding day prompt and professional, ready to capture every moment-even moments we didn’t know we wanted captured. It was a frigid day with snow on the ground and taking pictures outside seemed unbearable, but it was something I really wanted. John braved the cold with us and with his efficiency and artistic eye, we were able to capture our group shots and single shots without getting frostbite!
