Though later editions of John Fox Jr’s most famous book, ‘The Trail of the Lonesome Pine,’ are common, this first edition is much more rare, and even more so with an intact dust jacket. I found this online and the seller sent me the jacket folded into 8ths and tucked inside the front cover with a note that said “I wanted to protect it from getting damaged.” Well hell...
