The Village Magazine Summer 2013 Issue!

I don't know how many of you are in Florida but The Village Magazine is the Gulf Coast region's only creative-culture lifestyle publication and it's run by my good friend Hector Ferran.

It's full of articles on great local artists and there's even an article about me! It really is a huge honor, but I'll let him explain in his own words.

The summer issue of The Village Magazine marks the end of our third full year of creating this product. We’ve gone over our history in the past, and we’ve had several iterations, but the summer issue was always one about doing things a little bit different and I’m really proud of what we did this summer.

While we have always been an arts & culture publication, and we work so closely with the artist community, we’ve never fully dedicated an issue to artists. So today we have for your our Summer Artists Issue of The Village Magazine. Two covers, 9 artists and lots of big bright pictures. From acrylic to collage, spray paint to photography, to traditional and digital illustration, this issue reflects the eclectic nature of the part of Florida that we live in.

Today was a busyyyyy day. These ladies are going to be a whole series of variant prints, and I went wild with them. I’m working with a pair of busted eyes, and an old monitor. So the colors are gonna be extremeeeee, just how I like ‘em.
