Molti di noi passano gran parte del tempo in conversazioni vuote perché spaventati e socialmente imbarazzati di fronte ai momenti di silenzio.

Abbiamo paura del silenzio anche quando siamo soli e così, spesso, viviamo con un continuo chiacchiericcio di trasmissioni radio o musiche di sottofondo.

Il silenzio è necessario perché dà una risposta creativa alla vita, al nostro ambiente e ai nostri amici e perché dà spazio allo spirito per respirare, spazio per essere.

Nel silenzio non ci dobbiamo giustificare né scusare, né dobbiamo fare colpo su qualcuno.

Dobbiamo solo essere.

È una grande meravigliosa esperienza di libertà.

Nel silenzio non reciti un ruolo né soddisfi delle aspettative.

Tu sei solamente là, mentre realizzi il tuo essere, aperto alla realtà. 

Imparare ad essere silenziosi è iniziare un viaggio.

Tutto ciò che devi fare è cominciare.

Fare il primo passo nel silenzio è cominciare il viaggio della tua vita, il viaggio nella vita.
