Someone once asked me if I'd named my blog after this song and I didn't answer because I didn't know. I didn't conciously do it. The notion of Arcady first really popped up for me in Waugh's "Brideshead revisited", then John Hadfields book "Love on a branch line". I do own this album though and the words of this song may have clinched it and they do fit the content of this site and are as good a way as any of passing a Boxing day moment.
