the original hellblazer run is famously antifascist anticapitalist antimonarchy and antithatcher so yes john constantine is a leftist
AND WE LOVE HIM FOR IT
So does anyone have any theories about who could be saying "You're not in control of the magic, John. It's in control of you" in an upcoming Legends of Tomorrow episode? (Possibly "Silence of the Sonograms"?)
I mean for all we know, it could just be a crazy random voice in John's head that just sounds all demonic because of how far gone he's getting, but I guess we'll find out in a few weeks anyway
Would anyone have any objections to me just... Opening a Hellstar shippers discord server?
To discuss the ship, promote our fanworks, share music that reminds us of the ship and have like minded people together in one space.
I can have it up by the end of the day if people want it?

OKAY
John Constantine and Spooner forming a team is not what I expected but it turned out absolutely marvelous.
There is just something about the villain calling John "Johnny", isn't there?
I just had another crazy thought about Legends of Tomorrow. But not exactly from the latest episode per se...
What if, way back in "Seance and Sensibility" the reflection of John that was talking to him wasn't exactly Neron (since it seems very unlikely that Neron can shapeshift), but what if that was actually "Demon John" (or "Darkside John" or whatever you wanna call him). So in a way, him popping up like that in the mirror actually makes sense since it's John's darker self taunting him instead of Neron
