Fitch may be a diabolical mastermind, but he's not really the villain of the episode. The masterminds are John Harvey and Ben Jago. Fitch is really more of a glorified henchman, yet he oozes menace with an oversized ick factor. When he opens Mrs. Peel's zipper and touches her it is definitely one of the cringier encounters and conveyed perfectly by Rigg's expressions.
