It was the biggest opportunity Joey’s had. A supporting role in a motion picture not to some of the biggest names the industry had to offer. The only catch was that he had to go across the country to Florida for the next six weeks. Being away from the city for that long was a foreign idea to him, and was almost enough to make him reconsider the entire thing. But with the encouragement of his inner circle, he took the plunge and booked his flight.
It had been an entire month since he left his apartment and flew to Miami. The day after he landed, they started filming. It was different from any other film set he was on. The hours were longer. The work was more grueling, and the director was far more demanding. But as much as it took out of him, it was all like a dream to him. The only thing that was really missing was the chance to go home at the end of the day and talk to Stefan or his friends about it. He called whenever he had the time and energy, but that only did so much to fill the void he felt without those he was closest to.
He was in his hotel room, sprawled out on the king-sized bed. He was flipping through the channels while he waited for room service to arrive. The knock at the door startled him for just a moment. After a particularly loud growl from his stomach, he rolled off of the bed and onto his feet so he could open it for what he thought was his dinner. However, much to his surprise, who was on the other side of the door satisfied a much different hunger within him. “Stefan, hey!” Arms were quick to be thrown around the other. He didn’t expect to see a familiar face for another two and a half weeks, but the surprise was more than appreciated. “What are you doing here?!” He asked, though his grip around him had not lightened up one bit.
