OK so clearly I'm in a mushroom fairy mode but like imagine Clark going out to forage for food and filling his basket with mushrooms and accidentally rousing fairy Bruce resting with his mushroom cap hiding him between patches. Imagine Bruce flying around Clark indignant that this man (alien?) Was gonna cook him (HIM!) for food XD

even better, clark pulls up a handful of mushrooms without inspecting them (this is bad mushroom foraging technique, you should always pick them one by one and inspect every single one but anyway) and doesn't notice until he gets home. lil bruce wakes up in a strange place and accuses clark of kidnapping him 😭 poor clark is sooo flustered, but since it's nighttime he insists that bruce stays the night and promises that he'll help him find his way in the morning. well come morning bruce refuses to leave, clark's house is just too comfortable (and the man is good company). clark doesn't mind his new guest, bruce doesn't take up much space :3
