Isaac had never felt freer before Joachim.

The old vampire was not debauched, but he did not care about pretending to be above it all like Hector, precious Hector who still walked with his nose upturned. No, Joachim truly was above it all, and thus he had no objections when Isaac pulled him in for a kiss, warmed his cold lips and cheeks with his own human warmth. He was not a great kisser, but Isaac didn't mind at all.

Even when they were in the library. Even when Hector was passing by. Especially, in that case.

Isaac didn't need to turn his head from the vampire to feel the daggers thrown in his direction.

How does it feel, Hector? Does it sting, to be left behind?

As if Isaac needed him anymore. Not when Joachim showed him real attention, real care: the vampire had every reason to treat him like a child, yet he didn't. He listened and admired him with intent, head resting on his hand and a sly smile on his porcelain face, like Isaac was the most beautiful creature in the room: warmth like no other simmered inside him, when Joachim kept him company.

The divorsties 🥰 constantly swinging between "they were besties and all they had in Dracula's castle" and "they were two traumatized boys who never learned how to love so they hurt each other even before Hector's betrayal"

who gave them the right to be cute. I can see the chemistry, them understanding each other, having a similar sense of humor, Joachim allowing Isaac to finally feel loved...

I still think they'd have more of a big bro/lil bro dynamic lol. But I absolutely want to see Joachim trying to help Hector out because he sees him as a prisoner like he himself used to be 🥺

Since I don't see Hector and Joachim together in a romantic way, there's not much chemistry in the polycule. But I am very much for the scenario where both of them shower Isaac with the love he so craves and deserves 🥰 oh and both Isaac and Joachim would love to tease Hector, of course :P
