Taking Back Harry Potter

As a member of Gen Z, Harry Potter just isn’t hitting anymore. So I’m rewriting it, the whole series, to be something that we can vibe with. I am adding in racial and LGBTQIA+ representation, as well as increased mental health and disability representation. I’m going to do my best to remove as much of the problematic stuff as well, to try to create a series that we can read and truly enjoy. We can take Harry Potter back from the author and claim it for ourselves.

I’m posting on AO3, adding chapters weekly. The series is called ‘Hari Potter: Revised’.

I have just posted one of my favourite pieces of fan fiction; 'The First Day of the Rest of Her Life' on AO3. It is a two chapter piece from Ginny's perspective and it details her first trip on the Hogwarts Express, her Sorting and her first night at Hogwarts. Ginny has been looking forward to going to Hogwarts for as long as she can remember, and it was so fun for me to write about her journey.
