People close to me know that I am very specific with the things I like, esp when it comes to details. So, booking @oak_st_studios was the easiest thing to do for me. Prior the wedding, I recalled telling Jhon that I won't be considering any other wedding photogs except for Oak. So, it's basically Oak St. Studios or nothing. Even before, I was never really fond of videos. So, I am very much okay without an SDE/Wedding video since Oak St. Studious focuses mainly on photography. They had me at their sentimental-evoking, film-like wide angle candid shots. So 90s! I even remember just how a wave of nostalgia swept over me upon browsing their albums a few years back, that warm fuzzy feeling. Something I've never felt with all the prenup/wedding photos i've seen online (but of course, this is just my opinion). It gave me the vibe of a home that I could never go back to, a home that has been lost in time. 🍂 That moment, I knew they're the one. All their photos were consistently heartfelt, beautifully candid, and each photo tells a story-- all in a single frame. I even moved our wedding date for their availability, even told Maika that i'm willing to wait. Imagine, that's how much I love their work-- probably because it's a reflection of my personality.
