if you’re under 14 (any age really but ESPECIALLY THEM) and you’re a kpop fan, PLEASE (for the sake of god) go offline and enjoy yourself. come on wattpad to make your sappy fluff fanfics about your bias, or draw a pretty picture of your bias group making out with each other. go party in your room whilst listening to faves or fantasise about making out with your bias.
this generation really needs to know that it’s ok to be cringy. you was young at the time and you so happened to grow up to acknowledge your actions. it’s a part of growing up. don’t think you have to fit in with the good twitter stans crowd to make your fandom look good in any capacity. just enjoy your group, don’t worry about the streams and be yourself. the only thing i’d ask you is to not harass anyone for having a different opinion as you and especially don’t harass kpop idols. other than that, go wild! you may have cringy memories, but at least you’re having fun rather than trying to fit in with the “mature” crowd. plus, you’re only young once and that “mature” brain of yours will come whenever you’re ready. it could be when you turn 16, 18, 21 or even 25. humans are just like flowers. each one of them blooms at different rates and at different times.
if you do want to have the mature outlook and you’re under 14, then that’s totally fine. i’m just here to say that it’s also ok if you want to be your age and have fun without having to be too restricted. you’re totally within your own right to choose what you want to do and you don’t need to listen to me if you don’t want to. i’m just here to say that we need to start normalising pre-teens being pre-teens and teens being teens. you’re allowed to experiment with kpop idols you like, just as long as you’re not crossing the line by harassing them or anyone else such as fans and non-fans.
that’s all i wanted to say.
