I start with a loose idea, it’s important to pay attention to line of action and body shapes, I exaggerate anatomy and pose o a more dynamic look
It’s important to pay attention to the body language as it tells the story. What is their relationship to each other and the action that they’re doing? The flow is in how they lean into each other.
I no longer use a new layer for lineart I just darken the sketch and add hatching for shadings and flat colors and that’s it! It’s important to pay attention to the silhouette, it makes the drawing more appealing and clear!
