今日は久々のお遍路へ。
10キロ歩いて18000歩!
海沿歩いたり坂道に山の中歩いて
今日は足がくがく〜
やっとこさたどり着いた札所にいた
寝てるお地蔵さん
ほっこりしたわ〜
Seeing the Houseki no Kuni fandom lose their collective minds over the recent reveal of a certain someone being named ‘Enma’ kinda makes me want to do a quick write-up on the conflations between Jizou and Enma and how Sensei and the Crappy Moon Prince are two sides of the same coin
but I need to find time for that “orz
Bought these cute gashapon jizou-sama cat and dog! Probably my favorite ever gashapon figures!
Iwamotoji means, “Temple of Rocky Roots” and was fully reconstructed in 1890. What is particularly interesting about this temple is that five gods are celebrated here, Yakushi, Amida, Jizou, Kannon, and Fudou. Most temples are dedicated to one or two, but Iwamotoji covers all its bases.
What is also of interest is that the public is invited within to see much more of the temple than in many other locations. Local artists have been invited to add their own artistic touches to the panels within. If you take a peek at my photos you will see that someone saw fit to include Marilyn Monroe. Not quite in league with Kannon, I am sure, but there she is. Check it out!
